There are many rewarding ways to be involved. As an Angel Wings Healthcare LLC Volunteer, you can expect to be well-trained and have a clear understanding of the expectations required to be successful in any role. We cherish our volunteers; we could not serve our community without your support, help, and dedication. Our volunteers make ALL the difference!
Companionship/Patient Care
As a companionship/patient care volunteer, your time with patients may include keeping them company, holding their hand, reading a book together, singing/humming, playing games, looking through family photos or simply providing a comforting presence. Some companionship/patient care volunteers offer caregiver relief visits as well, these provide the patient’s primary caregiver a two-hour respite once a week. Volunteers do NOT provide “hands-on medical care” (such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and administering medications).
Administrative
Office volunteers are the glue that holds operations together at Angel Wings Healthcare LLC. Our Administrative volunteers assist each department using their own unique set of skills. In this role, you may make phone calls, create thank you letters, help with filing/scanning, mailings, data entry, or running errands. No task is too great for our Administrative volunteers.
